Department of State Releases August 2024 Visa Bulletin

The DOS has posted its August 2024 Visa Bulletin. USCIS determined that for August 2024, adjustment of status applicants in all family-sponsored preference categories must use the Dates for Filing chart. Employment-based preference categories must use the Final Action chart.

August’s F2A visa category dates are almost current, listing a June 15, 2024 date in all countries. High demand remains in the EB-3 visa category. The Visa Bulletin states that this will likely lead to retrogressing the final action dates or making the category “Unavailable” for September.
