New Rules for F and J Nonimmigrants Go Into Effect September 15th: What You Need to Know

In July, the Department of Homeland Security announced significant changes impacting F and J nonimmigrants – specifically, as regards to how F and J visa holders are admitted to the U.S., how long they can stay, and when/whether they can change academic or training programs. In advance of the new rules taking effect on September 15th, we have prepared a flyer summarizing the changes, with a focus on the practical impacts for those in F-1 or J-1 status.
