LHSC’s Joe Hohenstein Wins Election to PA State House

November 7, 2018

LHSC’s Joe Hohenstein won his bid to represent Pennsylvania’s 177th State Congressional District last night, comfortably prevailing over Republican Patricia Kozlowski.  The 177th had previously been in Republican hands for 34 years!

Joe has been an amazing immigration attorney for over 20 years, and has devoted his career to keeping families united and protecting the rights of immigrants. He’ll now take that same passion and skill to Harrisburg, where he’ll fight for the Northeastern Philly community he has called home for virtually his whole life.

While we’re sad to see Joe leave, we know that Pennsylvania has just gained an amazing State Rep, and we are excited to watch him get to work in Harrisburg.

Go Joe!
