As of today, anyone who wishes to apply for a K-1 or K-2 visa must submit the DS-160 Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application. The DS-160 replaces the old DS-156 and the DS-156K (Nonimmigrant Fiance Visa Application), as well as the paper-based DS-230. Please note that this change is only related to the Department of State forms. USCIS still requires the filing of Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) at the beginning of the K-1 visa process.
If you have questions about Fiancé(e) visas and the K-1 visa application process, please feel free to email us or set up a consultation.
