Keeping Families Together Parole Process Halted

August 28, 2024

The recent Keeping Families Together (“KFT”) Parole Process implemented by the DHS has been administratively stayed by court order. Effective on August 26, 2024, USCIS can accept KFT parole applications, however USCIS cannot grant parole in place. Any applications that were approved before the administrative stay order was issued will not be affected.

This administrative stay of the KFT program was issued by Federal Judge Baker of the Eastern District Court of Texas. This administrative stay is expected to remain in place until mid-October based on the case hearing schedule before the court.

Our office will continue to monitor the situation and provide necessary updates. If you have further questions about the KFT Parole Process, a prospective application or seek advice regarding your pending application, please fill out our Consultation Request Form.
