In late September, the Trump Administration issued its 3rd attempt at a travel ban targeting certain majority-Muslim countries. As with the prior two such attempts, court rulings soon put most of the ban on hold pending review of the ultimate legality of the ban. However, the Supreme Court ruled today that the ban could be implemented immediately, even though appeals of the lower court rulings are due to be heard by the Court of Appeals later this week.
It is not yet known how quickly implementation will proceed, and we will update this space as soon as DHS issues guidance.
