April Visa Bulletin: India EB2, India EB3, and F2A (all regions) do not advance; no further retrogressions in any category

The Department of State has released the April visa bulletin, which shows no dramatic movement for any employment- or family-based preference categories. The largest cutoff date advancements were seen for the Philippines.

Family-Based Categories

F2A cutoff dates will remain static for all regions. Most other categories will see cutoff dates advance 1-6 weeks, with the largest gain made by F-1 Philippines, which will move up 2.5 months to November 1, 2001.

Employment-Based Categories

Cutoff dates for EB-2 and EB-3 India will not advance in April. China EB-2 will advance 2 weeks, while all other non-current employment-based categories will advance 4-7 weeks.
